The five regions in Denmark

The regional level in Denmark is constituted of five regions and thus five regional committees for quality and post-education for general practice in Denmark.

One of the major tasks for the regional committees is to promote the work of quality development and training among the general practitioners.

The committees contribute to the implementation of new professional services and other actions agreed by the parties of the agreement between Danish Regions and the Organisation of General Practitioners in Denmark (PLO).

The five regional committees for quality and post-education are also involved in the coordination of the nationwide quality work and thus support the implementation of the work of the Foundation for Quality and E-health.
